BluShues Generations For Christ Initiative
BGFCI is a Christ-centered discipleship and leadership development initiative designed to raise a new generation of young people, children, and families from unreached and underserved communities who are grounded in Scripture, equipped for Christian leadership, actively engaged in their local churches, and empowered to positively transform their communities. The initiative is built around two interconnected program strands: the Global Youth Ambassadors for Christ Program and the Faith-Based Literacy and Scripture Engagement Program.

Why BGFCI Exists
BGFCI was created to address four interconnected gaps affecting children, young people, families, and churches in underserved communities.
A Discipleship Gap
Many churches have faith communities but lack the curriculum, resources, and age-specific structures needed to help young people develop sustained Christian practices.
A Leadership Development Gap
Young people in under-resourced communities may have leadership potential but lack access to mentorship, structured leadership experiences, and opportunities to practice leadership.
A Literacy Gap
Children facing educational barriers may struggle to develop foundational reading skills. BGFCI connects literacy with access to Scripture because a child who cannot read cannot independently engage God’s Word.
A Family Formation Gap
Parents and caregivers may desire to nurture faith at home but lack the tools, confidence, or resources to make Scripture engagement and prayer consistent.

Youth
Youth ages 13-35 through the Global Youth Ambassadors for Christ Program.
Children and Families
Children ages 8-12 and their families through the Faith-Based Literacy and Scripture Engagement Program.

BGFCI partners with local churches because they are already trusted and rooted in their communities. Rather than replacing the local church, we equip it with the tools, training, and resources needed to serve its children, young people, and families effectively.
We build for long-term formation.
The long-term vision is a growing network of Scripture-engaged families, Christ-centered young leaders, equipped mentors, and self-sustaining churches that continue the work from one generation to the next.
